Water Dancer

The leaves and flowers of the water lily are tethered by long stems that grow from the roots embedded in the wet earth and sand under the water. The movement of the water causes the leaves and flowers to sway gracefully as if to music like ribbon dancers. I played with the division of space the stems made and tried to achieve the feeling of magic underneath the water.
